EVENTS for 17th June

On 17th June 1942 Argus I HM169 of the ATA hit a ridge on take-off from St.Athan causing the undercarriage to collapse.

Also on 17th June 1942 Beaufighter IIF R2318 of 125 Sqn broke up in the air during aerobatics and crashed at Furse Hill Farm, near Park Mill, Glamorgan.
